Personal auto coverage
One car or four, a newly licensed driver, or a vehicle that sits in the driveway most of the week. We look at the limits and deductibles that change both what you pay and what you get back.
Independent insurance advisory and consulting
We're an advisory and consulting firm, not an insurance company. Tell us what you drive and what you pay today. We'll read your current coverage properly, compare it with the options actually available to you, and explain the difference in ordinary words. What you do next is your decision.
What this costs you. Your first comparison and consultation is free, and there's nothing to sign. If longer work makes sense for you, we'll set out the scope and the fee in writing first, and you decide whether to go ahead.
More about how we work
Who we are
We work from Elmira, New York and talk to clients all over the country. Our job is comparison and explanation. We read what you have now, line by line, then put it next to the options you could actually get at limits that make sense for your situation. By the end, you'll know what each policy includes, what it leaves out, and which one we'd pick.
What we advise on
Every piece of work starts the same way. We find out what you have, what it costs, and what you would like to change. Then we compare.
One car or four, a newly licensed driver, or a vehicle that sits in the driveway most of the week. We look at the limits and deductibles that change both what you pay and what you get back.
Your car policy will not rebuild your house. We review your property coverage next to it, so you can see what bundling really saves and where you may be quietly underinsured.
If a vehicle earns money, a personal policy is the wrong tool. We help contractors, couriers and owner operators work out what commercial coverage involves and what their contracts ask for.
Specialty vehicles are rated on different rules. We compare agreed value against actual cash value, seasonal use, storage periods and the extras that standard policies tend to ignore.
If you need a filing to keep driving or to get your registration back, we explain what it does, how long it has to stay in place, and compare the companies that accept those files.
Coverage drifts as life changes. We read your declarations page at renewal, check that the discounts are still being applied, and give you a short list of changes worth making.
How it works
Most consultations happen over the phone or by email. If you would rather sit down with us in Elmira, we are happy to do that too.
What you drive, who drives it, where it is parked and what you pay now. A photo of your declarations page speeds things up. If you don't have it handy, we can still start.
We put your current coverage next to the options you could get, with the limits and deductibles lined up, so that the prices are genuinely comparable.
A short written summary and a call to talk it over. What changed, what stayed the same, and what we would do in your position.
Keep what you have, adjust it, or move to another carrier. Whatever you choose, you can call us afterwards with questions.
Being precise about this
You should know exactly who you are dealing with before you send us anything.
Why it matters
A claim is a bad time to discover that your deductible is higher than you remembered, that the driver in your house was never added to the policy, or that the delivery work you started last spring was never mentioned to anyone. An hour of comparing now is worth more than a rushed decision afterwards.
Working with us
When the person explaining your options also earns money on them, the explanation tends to lean one way. We sit on the advisory side of that table. Our job is to make the differences clear enough that you can choose without second guessing yourself.
Common questions
No. We do not sell, underwrite, bind or issue policies. We compare the options available in the market, explain what each one includes and leaves out, and give you our opinion. If you decide to buy, the policy is issued by a licensed carrier or agency, and the terms are theirs, not ours.
Personal auto, home and renters, commercial auto and small fleets, motorcycle, RV and classic vehicle coverage, plus bundling, SR22 and high risk filings, and renewal reviews.
The first comparison and consultation is free, and you're not obliged to continue. The purpose of that first call is simple: to understand your situation and show you where your current coverage may be costing you more than it should.
Never. We compare, explain and advise, and the decision stays with you. Plenty of clients use our review just to confirm they're already well covered, or to make one or two small changes at renewal.
Yes. What you send us through this website is used to answer your enquiry and prepare your comparison. We don't sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Ready when you are
Call the desk or send the form. We'll read your current coverage, compare it with what else is available to you, and say honestly whether a change is worth making. The first review costs you nothing, and there's nothing to sign.
